Schedule for the week-end
Friday, June the 18th
Starting at 6pm : Reception at Studio 164 / Cie Geneviève Sorin (164 bd de Plombières 13014 Marseille)
Starting at 7pm : Open space for dance : Arrival Jam!
9h30pm: opening circle, followed by a pause to eat, talk and drink!
10h30pm: (to be confirmed) screening of the movie shot during the first edition of the “Jam du Sud 2008”, with director François Billaud (1 hour) plus discussion
Saturday, June the 19th
10 -12 : two classes (one outdoors and the other at Studio 164 ), each taught by a two-persons team (one from the South and another from elsewhere).
starting at 12h30 : Reception at Centre julien

2pm : Presentation of Nancy Stark Smith’s UNDERSCORE .
The “Global Underscore” celebrates its tenth edition around the world!
3pm- 1am: 10-hour Jam beginning with the solstice Underscore (3 to 7 pm)
Starting at 8pm, open buffet in another room !
Sunday, June the 20th
starting at 9am: breakfast at centre julien
10.30 -12.30 : class in the dojo (centre julien) taught by a two-persons team.
Another space will be open for massages or other bodywork for recuperation, as well as discussion with François Billaud, director of the film on “Jam du Sud 2008” played Friday evening.
Starting at 12.30: Tidying up, leaving the place, free meal
2pm: Meeting point to begin together a traveling jam bound for the sea ! Kind of final ritual to transition from the city to the sea! (don’t forget your sun screen and hat)
3pm Closure at the sea before diving!!!

Friday night and sunday night: accommodation at local people’s. Also ask your friends or relatives !

We encourage you to come with your family!
The children will be looked after during the Underscore.
On Saturday morning, the classes will be designed to welcome all generations; the rest of the time, we’ll help find a way to look after the children.

Studio 164 / Compagnie Geneviève Sorin: 164 bd de Plombières 13014 Marseille
Bus 89 or 72, stop at “Battala Plombières”
Metro line 2 stop at National then walk about 5 minutes, following the ” théâtre Toursky ” signs at the beginning.
By car: From Martigues or Aix, arriving by the A7 motorway, take the n°36 exit ” les 5 avenues”, then follow the direction “Belle de mai”. Don’t take the bridge and, at the 2nd lights on the left, the studio is located at the end of the paved driveway.
Centre Julien: 33 cours Julien 13006 Marseille
Metro line 2 stop at Notre Dame du Mont.
We advise you not to drive to this studio because parking possibilities are few and not free (moreover Saturday morning there’s a big market)!
Price
ADULTS : 55 €
If you book before June, the 10th, you get a dicount price: 45 euros /adult
ACCOMPANYING MUSICIAN: 8€ for Friday/ 20€ for Saturday / 25 € for the we. Contact Tiphaine (tiphainesaintrain@gmail.com) to agree on the musical participation during the week-end.
CHILDREN: from 8 – 20€ ; under 8 ans -free.
